About Us

QUICK VIEW

The Gokomere High School campus is located 16 km outside the City of Masvingo in the Masvingo Province of Zimbabwe, on the Masvingo to Harare Road – GPS coordinates: 19.96oS, 30.78oE.

The desire to contribute to the advancement of objectives of Gokomere High School is the broad reason for the formation of this former students’ association.

Acting in partnership with the School Leadership and the Leadership of the Masvingo Diocese of the Catholic Church, the GAS aims to initiate projects and programmes to fulfil various objectives

Who We Are

This site is for ex-students and staff of Gokomere to keep in touch with each other and with the school. Significant upcoming events which may be of interest to former students/staff will be listed here

Alumni Forum

The forums allow you to post (public) ‘bulletin board’ messages for other alumni to read/respond to. General announcements of interest to all alumni will also be posted here.

Business Platform

This is where we act as the hub for networking among all Alumni for shared learning, exchange of information on an unlimited array of subjects and topics including business opportunities.

Membership

Establishing formal relationships between the student admission and recruitment agencies for the various tertiary educational institutions and vocational training centres, in Zimbabwe, abroad, and within the GAS,

Fundraising

We finance of student curricular and extracurricular activities including student exchanges, learner-ships, experiential visits, exposure and networking exercises and sporting activities,

Museum

The Photo Gallery contains photos from last year’s centenary events as well as general photos of school life, both past and present.
